Appointments and Your First Visit

Your First Visit

Your first visit is usually for a preventative eye exam.

1. You will be met by friendly staff who will ask you to fill out some required insurance paper work.  This can be completed at home by downloading the forms online here... or you may fill them out when you get to the office.

2. Your doctor will then perform a preventative eye exam that usually includes a refraction.

3. At the conclusion of your preventative eye exam you will have a detailed consultation with your doctor to explain your options.

4. Presence of eye disease (example - cataract, macular degeneration) or systemic disease (example - diabetes) may require and appointment for additional medical testing.

5. If you need new lenses, frames or contact lenses our friendly staff will help to put the latest technology to work for you.  You will know how much help your vision plan or medical insurance will provide.  We submit your claim, and don't rest until we think your vision plan or insurance has delivered you what they promised.
