Medical Eye Care

Do you have a medical eye problem?  Symptoms that you can identify: red eye, itchy eye, spots, foreigh object in eye, watery eye, dry eye...

Medical history: arthritis, diabetes, hypertension...

Family history: cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration...

A medical eye exam is necessary when you have symptoms of a medical eye problem, personal history of systemic conditions that can effect the eyes, and family history of eye disease, or identifying a medical diagnosis at your preventative eye exam.

If you have an eye problem that develops within a few days we need to see you quickly. So please be prepared to describe your symptoms to our staff and let us know if you are aware of any of the following:

  • Allergies
  • Cataracts
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Diabetes
  • Dry Eyes

Even if you do not have a Vision Plan (Preventative exam and glasses) you will still be covered by your medical insurance for a medical eye exam.
